Managing Director Kristen has worked in the financial service profession since 1998, she qualified in 2001 shortly before her daughter Izzy was born. Since then she has gained qualifications in Mortgage Advice, Equity Release (Lifetime Mortgages), Customer Services in a Regulated Environment and Trusts.
Her clients are both private individuals and corporate entities.
Kristen launched Red Star Wealth in April 2011 to be able to deliver exceptional customer service in a professional but approachable style.
Not one to stand still for long, Kristen with her husband Nick run Red Star Education, providing financial literacy education and promoting financial wellbeing. She is passionate about travel, art, music and gardening.
Gary joined Red Star in June 2021, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.
In the early part of his career, he worked for product providers, supporting independent financial advisers with their client needs. For the past two decades, he has been an independent financial adviser, working directly with his own clients to help them navigate their investment and pension planning.
Outside of work, Gary is a dedicated sports fan-particularly when it comes to golf and loyally following the (mis)fortunes of Sunderland Football Club. He also has a deep love of music, attending gigs when he can, though it's been a long time since he braved a mosh pit!
Izzy is both the Artist in Residence and the driving force behind Red Star's social media and marketing activities. With a passion for creativity and storytelling, she brings a fresh, artistic touch to the company's branding and communications.
Izzy's artistic talent shines through in her work, both within the business and beyond. Whether she's crafting engaging content or creating original artwork, she blends her skills to ensure Red Star's message is as visually compelling as it is informative.
When she's not busy managing the company's marketing presence, Izzy can be found working on her own artistic projects, supporting the LGBTQ+ community, a social activist and Fine Art student at The Manchester School of Art.
